Recycled Rubber Products
One of the biggest ways that we are helping to reduce our impact on the environment is through the materials we choose to use in our products, where we are sourcing those materials from, and the process we use to manufacture our parking lot safety devices. No one else makes parking lot safety products quite like we do. Buffalo Green Products uses recycled rubber from a variety of sources like tires, industrial rubber, and other materials that would typically be cast into a landfill rather than repurposed into something useful. Additionally, we choose to utilize a state-of-the-art injection molding process rather than a compression process to create our recycled rubber products. This a practice that no one else in the industry is doing and helps us to reduce waste.
U.S. Made
At first thought, you may not think that being manufactured in the United States would make a difference when it comes to environmental impact. But, when you think about it, buying recycled rubber products from overseas takes a lot of resources. These items have to be shipped via cargo ship or plane, both of which require large amounts of fossil fuels and produce harmful exhaust. It’s also worth mentioning that much of the time when overseas companies claim their products are created using recycled rubber, that is often not the case.
Multiple Distribution Centers
Now you may be thinking, “Well, don’t you still have shipping costs within the United States?”, and you’d be right. However, we are doing everything we can to combat how much fossil fuel we use for shipping. We have strategically placed distribution centers throughout the United States that are nearest the states that we ship to the most. That way, there is less ground to cover, and less fuel burned.
